Sounds a bit silly, but did he change his hair-dye? It looks a lot blonder/yellower when he first dyed his hair in 1999.

He looks badass for saying "I'm here as long as I rap" there now, because as talented as he was, it took a lot of people a minute to realize; I bet when he was saying stuff like that at the time, people clueless about rap were thinking "yeah right, flavour of the month" lmao.

And 14 years on, he's giving people epileptic seizures in wait for a line of information.

Those guys that called him up on Howard Stern back in 1999, one of which called him a 'one hit wonder', must feel pretty stupid about now too.
