EM is ruining his artists by making them dumb down their lyrics and have them rap over radio friendly beats. It doesnt even work sales wise cos both Slaughter and Yela failed.

Slaugher and Yela must step their game up alot for their next projects and EM needs to give them freedom to do what they want.

First: You do know Radioactive was basically completed by the time Yelawolf signed to Shady, right?

Second: Yela has said multiple times that Eminem did not influence the commercial style that he was going towards. That was of Yela's free will. He even said Em told him "do you".

Third: Radioactive was a great album. Just because it didn't "go hard" all the way didn't mean it was trash. I actually enjoy the softer songs. They had more meaning.

Can't say the same for Slaughterhouse but their album wasn't bad either IMO

Radioactive wasn't trash, it was just a HUGE disappointment.

As for Our House, I would actually consider it bad.

Also, I think Em did influence the commercial sound... I mean, yeah he had the concept and intention from the get-go, the name always meant that... but, at some point in the recording I remember Yela saying Em told him how to make it more 'worldwide' aka broader / mainstream.

Em says "do you" to all his artists but doesn't actually let them do them.

Just look at Obie and D12... Devil's Night and Cheers basically feel like fucking Em albums. D12 even said Em made them do the goofy shit most of the time, for hits.

Em tries to use his own formulas on other artists.

And with Yela and SH, it's clear that he tried to use his 'recovery formula'.

I'm sorry. But I would hardly think of Yelawolf as an "Eminem artist". I seriously don't think Eminem influences his work in a large way. Yela did Radioactive by himself and Em had like 10% input into the project. Yela knew what he was doing, and he was making a commercial album.

Radioactive is a great commercial album, there is no doubt. But Yela is most happy to rap as he do at TMR. Love Story must be next part of TM series, and then all fans will be delighted

I have not been following Yela much lately but does anyone know if EM is producing any songs on this album or does he have any involvement? Do you know of any features at all? What happened to the Yela Hopsin collab?

Yela x Hopsin is for the Travis Barker EP which will be released after KM, and Knock Madness is coming out this year. (Hop said he's shooting the vid next week)

Eminem's involvment will be last minute additions, probably no production because WillPower produced it all so might be a feature here and there.

This album wil be amazing.

You guys think he might drop a mixtape in the summer to maintain his current buzz?

Nah, he might be on Em's album on a bonus track or something. And it'll give him some buzz. Em will mention it in his interviews, he's doing a few shows with him..

Don't think he'll drop a mixtape. I mean this guy dropped like.. Heart of Dixie, Slumdon Bridge and Trunk Muzik Returns for free. :y:

Wish I could read what's on the paper.

Yeah, presuming they all don't sell the fuck out again.

Looks like Em is on a dark vibe... Kanye is just on a genius spazz-out vibe, major anti-establishment and brilliant fucking idea with the building projections... and dark... Yela has rebelled, repented and is now looking to recover from Radioactive; TMR was a start, and you can tell even with Psycho White... he's digging deep to make a dent, so I have high hopes for Love Story too...

Maybe this is finally the year they all deliver.

Not all music has to be 'dark' to be good good music is just good music if you have good lyrics, good content, good chorus, good melody, good flow and good beat.

Kanye's marketing and promoting is great, but honestly that song was really meh. It's a good concept because of the way they promoted it.. However the song itself isn't really good.
