Rhyming is often considered to be a part of the technical aspect of rap, along with flows/cadence. Lyricism is what the rapper is saying. Rhyming can be considered an aspect of lyricism but it isn't the only part. This is supposed to be a lyrical appreciation thread but all you're doing is highlighting rhymes.

I fuckin' said that, retard. Stop trying to make Hip-Hop so black and white, like it's textbook shit. When I think of lyricism, I think of the writing; schemes, rhyming, flow, content, concepts. I'm focusing on the rhyming aspect which in turn pays respect to the schemes as well.

What I said about the OP is true. You were making it seem like a lot of rhymes makes something good lyrically. Weren't you defending Crooked I's verse on Throw It Away because it rhymes well? Didn't you highlight them in an effort to defend the verse?

I mentioned the work "lyrical" once in the OP. Fuck off. And no, that wasn't me.

I don't understand why you brought up Slaughterhouse :s Each individual member (other than Crooked I) is capable of writing a verse that isn't rhyming incoherently and I don't think they're considered "lyrical miracle" rappers.

I'm not talking individually, if I meant it individually then I would've said it. Listen to interviewers, other rappers or Em - everyone calls them a super lyrical crew. Lyrical. And you know God damn right they're just referring to rhyming.

Christ, you're like an atheist of music. Gotta try your best to take everything so God damn literal and bluntly it takes the enjoyability out of everything.
