Oh shit, what is this new game plus? I get to continue from the beginning but with all of my current weapons+upgrades?

EDIT: That's interesting. I did actually get trophies. I got the one for crafting of course, beating the game on Normal, and I guess since I beat it on Normal it gives you the trophy for beating it on Easy (Thankfully).

EDIT AGAIN: After updating, all the textures of things I look at are absolute SHIT. Like her birthday card to Joel in the very beginning, the t-rex is extremely blurry and ugly and the text is unreadable. Before it was clear and crisp. Anyone else having this issue?

Well I'm back, and I finished the game. Credits are rolling, beautiful music. Great ending, fuck. Just great.

I shot that surgeon so fucking fast when I burst into that room. No regrets.

Honestly I thought the ending was going to be Joel dying to save her. I figured he was going to be shot down and maliciously murdered after he tried to get away with carrying her out of the building. I mean, all the lights were flashing red, the music was intense, and everyone was coming at him with everything they had until he got into that elevator. It just seemed like the only possible situation. What did you expect?

I guess I'll be working towards getting trophies then. That's crazy, I'm gonna have a look at what the trophies are in the first place. How's the online for this? In fact...What is it? Survivors or something correct?

It's called factions. Have you ever played Gears of War online? The game types are similar to Gears 3 team deathmatch and warzone. The maps are all pretty small but there are 1 or 2 good sized maps. They try to make it interesting by adding a story factor to it. (It's hunters vs. Fireflies)
It actually does a very good job at capturing the feel of the single player. People dont just run around everywhere and it gets really intense. A ton of strategy is involved and if you arent smart you will get killed. You should definitely give it a shot.

Oh right. Factions. No, I've never played much Xbox aside from the Gears 1 campaign. I am definitely going to try it asap, just not for tonight. I need a break from TLoU.

A couple times it took a second for the textures to load but stuff was only blurry for about a second for me but then all the textures loaded.

Well for this the textures have been permanently fucked. Like a third of them are PS1-tier. Hopefully it was a one time thing, and the next time I start it up it's all good.

Anyone else think of Ellen Page when they see Ellie? This entire time I can't help but think of Ellie as a much younger Page. I googled around and apparently Ellen Page said "I guess I should be flattered that they ripped off my likeness, but I am actually acting in a video game called Beyond Two Souls, so it was not appreciated." on an AMA on Reddit in regards to the game.



Honestly Ellie looks nothing like her voice and motion capture actor. Maybe I'm just being thrown off by the blonde hair.

By the way my textures are back to normal, thank you Lord Yeezus.

Lol. At first, before I started playing, I did think that the Ellie character's look was based on, and voiced by Ellen Page. But now I don't really see it.


Anyway... I am almost at the hospital, after all the things that happened in the town in the woods. It's only been a minute, but I can see how Joel's attitude against Ellie has changed.

Solace, I am not sure. I rarely play through a game twice. I still have to digest everything that happened in the game first. I have already formed my opinion on Joel, but I like to keep thinking of it.
Is Survivor multiplayer or something else single player?

I have to check out multiplayer, though. Hey, why don't we all play multiplayer together once?

Neither do I honestly, but I was for some reason inclined to try this game on a different difficulty. There's a lot of different ways to clear sections of enemies so it's interesting trying different things.

I'd probably nail Ellen Page video game or real life.

Fuck this game is so good. I'm about halfway through now. Best game I've played all year, one of the best ps3 games I can recall too. Right up there with Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain (which btw Beyond: Two Souls looks so good).
