Come on now, AZ's verse on illmatic is one of the best guest verses of all time lol...I know you like going against the grain but I'm not falling for the troll.

his voice has nothing to do with the quality of his verse tbh...AZ was better lyrically, his melodic and multisyllabic cadence immediately impressed on the first listen and dude said way more things than Nas with only 16 bars.

It's a gud verse yeah, but I don't feel it's the goat guest verse and much prefer Nas waxing optimism over his incessant whining even though that's the point of his verse. I feel Naz's verse was much smoother actually, and his rhymes sounded more fluid. Hell I think az has much better verses than that in Doe or Die and it unfairly overshadows his career.

AZ had more personality and he was way more charismatic than Nas IMO.. I seriously think that he was better than nas in every imaginable way (charisma, flow, lyrics, rhymes, content..)
