What's the point of having the same layout for 10 years and only add one or 2 options a year ?

You can only change this one so much, too. TR said this layout isn't even made for the new version of this board. That's why things still look off and aren't working properly. This is a hybrid of the old layout and the one we had for a few hours yesterday lol

I've reverted to the old theme. It's not updated to work with the latest version of this forum but we should be alright. Thanks for those who provided helpful feedback in the meantime.

I'm just afraid of them going to something too dark. White font/grey font on black is worse than black font on white. It's just way too hard on my eyes when everything is completely dark like the last layout was.

I usually like lighter forums anyway though, so I might be a little bit bias.

That's why there should be a light version and a dark version. Most layouts are set up like that, now.

%100 agree. Dark versions are great at night when it's dark in your house, so I like being able to choose between the two.

You can now, but it's in the control panel and we only have one option in the dropdown menu. Having it on the main board would be nice, though. Again, that's if we have options. Which we should.

i am still thinking options will be good, because with the amount of time that this has been the theme, too many people are used to it, and theres always gonna be some people who are gonna complain. So options makes a lot of sense

Everyone would be happy. Light version, Dark version and the unchanged version (the current one). And there should be a dropdown menu on the main board for us to change at any given moment. Maybe the new versions will have more updated features, then people will just get used to the newer layouts.

But jfc, we need some change around here, people. You'll get used to a new look. A forum is a forum. I click a category/subcat and click on their topics once you're in there. It's not hard, the layout is the exact same, it just has different colours lol

Those two aren't bad, as long as we can keep sigs and shit. I still prefer the old one, but I might switch to the light one given the option.

Sigs were just temporarily disabled on the layout we had for a few hours. They were~ coming back lol. It was easier to fix stuff without them on, TR said. He freaked everyone out by picking a random layout

It wasn't even that it was a random layout, it was just a bad layout in general. The "reply to PM" shit was hidden way at the bottom, the font for the numbers and shit was super small, and it was impossible to read.
