Apparently Eminem was given a few tracks off “Hunger for More 2” to spit a verse on. He did do a verse for “Celebrity”, but (obviously) he wasn’t too happy with his verse and it got nixed from the album version

Perhaps it reminded him too much of his Encore days?

But, somehow, his verse got leaked (probably by somebody in the studio who disagreed with Em), and here it is

I personally think it's either just a figure of speech or he addressed the last line But homie I get the paper 'cuz he'd never rap about that if it wasn't a song with that kind of subject matter. He could have had many other reasons for it too.
