I use Cool Edit Pro 2.
I got a Genesis 1000 watt Amplifier for the 6 megaphone speakers.
I got a Yamaha MX 12/4 mixer console where i connect:
4 cardioid microphones (two for studio/two for live performance)
1 Akai Mk-II tape recorder
1 Luxman DZ-03 CD player
1 Casio keyboard
1 Technics Mk-2 turntable
The mixer's output connects to my soundcard's line in.
My soundcard's line OUT connects into two of my mixer's channels.
The MX 12/4 has two options.
1) Output AND Record
2) Output only.
Every channel is on Output and Record except the channels that connect to my soundcard Line Out (those are Output only).
NOTE: There is no "normal" way or button to do so. You just have to mess with the cables and plug ins. Read the instructions manual for more information about it.
