I cant make beats.

I use Cool Edit Pro 2.

I got a Genesis 1000 watt Amplifier for the 6 megaphone speakers.
I got a Yamaha MX 12/4 mixer console where i connect:
4 cardioid microphones (two for studio/two for live performance)
1 Akai Mk-II tape recorder
1 Luxman DZ-03 CD player
1 Casio keyboard
1 Technics Mk-2 turntable

The mixer's output connects to my soundcard's line in.
My soundcard's line OUT connects into two of my mixer's channels.

The MX 12/4 has two options.

1) Output AND Record
2) Output only.

Every channel is on Output and Record except the channels that connect to my soundcard Line Out (those are Output only).

NOTE: There is no "normal" way or button to do so. You just have to mess with the cables and plug ins. Read the instructions manual for more information about it.

Thats pretty tight...

I dont no wat the fuck my mics called(jus brought it) but it cost about 4 to 500 dollars...

I use Cool edit pro 2 azwell hehe

Now this is the Thing...I use Fruity Loops for my beats..BUT

All my KICKS, SNARES, MY EVERYTHING is like Dre, Eminem, Swizz, Neptune Snares and kicks ETC

And if you herd my beats all mixed and shit, they have the exact same quality as a Piano and shit..

BUT..I jus recently (actually on monday) brought me a MPC 2500 which im tryna figure out, coz when i use to record in a proper studio, sum one else was doing all the mixing and shit, i jus hit the pads and played the piano, but im buying all the pianos and shit untill later on, not jus yet...

There is only two kinds of microphones.

Cardioids and surround/peripheral micros.

Cardioids are those used for live performance and only receive from a certain position (example, your mouth cant be more than 20 degrees away).

Surround/peripherals are proffessional studio microphones. They receive from everywhere.

Those can be treaky tho. Remember they receive everything from everywhere. Meaning you gotta clean up the sample like a mothafucka.
