But honestly - at this point, I wouldn't wanna see any one else I like on Shady. As I think Em and his so called authentic team so called caring about authentic hip-hop would fuck them up.

They fucked up Slaughterhouse, and Yelawolf. And they all back-peddle and act like it wasn't Em but at the time they couldn't emphasize enough how much he had his hands all over it. In fact SH in particular even said they just recorded the tracks and Em made an album out of it.

Also looks like Em n Co. convinced Yela to do ''Good Girl'' and at the time Yela said Em told him how to make it more ''worldwide'. Em is pretty unique in that he can take even shitty and bland music and styles like on Recovery - and still sound like HIM. It sounds like a new Em phase and he still manages to pull it off, whatever he does with himself; but he then tries to just apply that as a formula to his roster artists.

Back in his glory years his formula was comedic + funky silly hip-hop / D12, Cheers etc. and it worked well because it was still authentic hip-hop. But since Recovery his formula is getting a slut to sing a spacey, airy, pop hook about nothing in particular... or love or broad struggle and then getting some faggy pop-rock-rap beat and putting some harsh verses on it, like we won't notice / fooled in to thinking it's hard due to the verses...

He reacted to that backlash on MMLP2 doe and despite Monster and Survival... mostly went back to trying to create unique hip-hop. But he dun fucked up Yela and SH and I think he hurts rappers more than he helps them now.
