Hey all,

Anyone else thinking about picking this up? or maybe tried it already?
I was a fan of the franchise earlier on and was kinda hyped for this game... especially considering the lack of next gen releases so far. Unfortunately I'm having doubts about picking it up now though. I don't usually overthink things when I see a game get poor reviews, but this one seems pretty consistant with the negative reviews.

Loved the early games, finna play this one when I get my PS4

Sweet. Im not sure when you plan to do that, but I'll leave an honest review if I end up purchasing it before then... Just curious to see other peoples opinions first though. Don't want to spend $60 for a complete pile.

They usually have solid reviews? Never heard of zero punctuation.
I know a guy who pre-ordered it so I guess I'll ask him about it before purchasing.. Kinda disappointing, I was hoping this game would be a real next gen gem. /

It's just one dude, and he's usually pretty good when reviewing games. And he's pretty funny too.

I'm curious to try it out but with Titanfall and MGS5: Ground Zeroes just around the corner I'd rather save my money for those.

Lol I bought it anyway.. just due to the lack of games that I've got for my next gen consoles so far..
I like stealth games and played the old ones so I guess that had something to do with it too.
anyway.. I don't think that the bad reviews are really being fair. If you're into stealth games its pretty solid. Graphics aren't anything amazing, but that]s normal for any game being released on all platforms.
Gameplay is pretty decent, but like the reviews say, the combat blows, but that doesnt bother me seeing as I like to play through as stealthy as I can. I read alot of complaints about the story and voice acting being terrible, but I didn't find it all that bad... Not sure what it is, but not only this game but many others for the new gen consoles seem to be getting really low reviews when I usually enjoy them.. maybe poeple are expecting too much..

In the end, I don't know if Id recommend people spend the full $60 on it, but maybe pick up a used copy or wait for the price to drop first.

Overall Id give it a 7, but I've only played it for a few hours so that might change.

Thanks for the feedback anyway... when it comes to games I'm kind of an impulse buyer.. especially when I don't have to leave my house..

They just came out though, you have to give it more than a few months. Not every developer has been developing for the new systems.

Sorry to break it to you, but MGS is no longer a Sony exclusive. Xbox One is getting it.
