Well it’s crazy. It started over a year ago: I did the record for Dr. Dre, for Detox. Dr. Dre hired Ross to write his verse for him. So Ross wrote a verse for him and a verse for himself, and then he was supposed to put Rihanna on the hook. But, you know, Dre never revisited the record, and then Ross came back about a month and a half ago and wanted the record for himself. So I had to ask the Good Doctor for clearance. I actually made it WITH Dre; I was in Vegas with Dre working on it at the time. They brought Ross in later.

Tbh haven't listened to anything of his in depth homie, except a few tracks. He just represents the kind of Hiphop that i will never fuck with. That gangsta shit has been done to death for me now like. Not as dope and authentic as it used to be. Each to their own though

Don't get me wrong my dude... I dislike Ricky to the full. I admit his lyrics aren't that bad & that he even drops good lines here & there but I dislike his act in general.

Yeah his act is lame although Im almost tempted to bump his recent effort due to the amount of praise its getting.
When i said that gangsta shit is played out for me, that's not entirely the case, there's a few people I'll still check out, like my nigga Cube and his upcoming album. But a lot of these new school dudes are meh to me tbh
