I think Kendrick is going for a mAAd city/County Building Blues/Sherane type of sound, since he said the album will have a dark and grey vibe and he is working with all of those West Coast Producers. Just a thought...

not really, kdot usually writes his songs years before the release of his albums... for example, gkmc was written before s80 and the only thing he did during the gkmc session was working on the cohesiveness/production of the album.

I think hes doing the same thing with this album
