Just to clarify, I ain't hating on Slaughterhouse. I still bump their last album. It just seems like they wanna stay low profile or something and I feel like they don't promote themselves enough. It's Eminem's fault anyways.

Like Menzo said, obviously a bait thread but I'll give a thoughtful answer anyway. I think if this album flops sales-wise AND the core Slaughterhouse fans hate on it like WTOH, they'll get one more chance and if the same happen again they'll be dropped.

Otherwise, I expect 3 more albums including Glass House.

I honestly did not intend for this to be a bait thread, even though the poll questions do make it look like that. We haven't really seen Shady Records deal with a major flop sales wise. Ca$his had an EP only that didn't sell, but it wasn't an album, Obie sold well, Creek and Stat never released anything, Em/D12/50 all sold fairly well on Shady.

If Slaughterhouse (and even Yela) keep having disappointing sales, I'm curious to find out how Shady Records handles it, or how much of a chance they're given.

I've always never seen the point Em signed Yela. I mean, it always looks like Yela still doing his own shit. Not saying what he does is bad, just that there's no change. I don't see the difference between Yela then and Yela Shady Records.

There is a difference though. He does his own thing (mixtapes etc) on his own, but studio albums are released and distributed through Shady Records. It theoretically gives him an extra resource for his actual albums.

There's more of a chance Yelawolf will be exposed, which I guess is good for him, but he doesn't seem to exploit it like Cashis, Fifty Cent, and Obie did. I don't think he's ever embraced the fact that he's on Shady Records besides allowing Eminem to rap about bucking hoes and McDonalds on Radioactive.
