It's just too much in your face for my liking. Overproduced and all that jazz. And of course the way he's shouting throughout....unlike say, Til I Collapse.

Fucking amazing song.

First time I heard it, I just sat there. EmBase said it best, the way this song just explodes into your face is like there was just an atomic bomb set off in the studio. Top notch lyricism, punches, flow and the storytelling is fuckin intense. I love how he takes us back to his underground days then as soon as he gets signed. Awesome shit.

The intro too, it's like "Rap God" with the way it builds up the suspense then BANG.

Menzo, I respect your opinion on this site more than any others, and I just can't agree with you here. He just doesn't keep a constant theme in this song. He gets completely sidetracked by puns in this song, and the song doesn't flow correctly in my opinion. Had he kept the original idea to the song going the whole song, I would have loved it, but he didn't. If this song was written a year earlier, in the relapse days, I think it would have been better just because he would have skipped the puns, or, if he had written it two years later, it would have been WAY better b/c the concept was awesome, just like bad guy, rhyme or reason, etc. For these reasons, I don't listen to it much. It's honestly in my bottom 5 recovery songs, but I don't hate it. I just disagree with the love of it.
