I'm 20, but yeah, it's pretty easy to hate a group that sucks.

If they suck then you can say the same about 90% of the mainstream rap scene. But I don't see other acts being so hated.

Let me first explain to you why I think they suck, and I'm not going to get into a bullshit debate about mainstream vs. "REAL RAP" because that's dumb.

1) They have no charisma. To me, they are one of the most boring rap acts to listen to. The ability to string together multis can only carry you so far. Their mic presence is questionable at best, which leads to a lot of "dead spots" on their albums.

2) They think Crooked I is a rapper worth keeping in the group.

3) Royce is at his worst when he's with Slaughterhouse. We heard him actually be interesting and rap well with Em on H:TS. He even did better than Eminem on some songs. Then what do we get from him on Slaughterhouse? "LIVE FROM THE AREA, AREA, WASTED". Garbage.

4) It sounds like a collection of rappers doing their own thing rather than a group. There is absolutely zero chemistry between them. Every song sounds like a mediocre cypher, and that's not what I'm interested in listening to.

Not really, their self-titled album was decent.

Em will let Yela (has talent, just I dont ever see him being a mainstream rapper, his style is too different) rot, and SH rot, and D12 return will rot. Everyone on Ems label = rot or AKA wont break through, they may still put out dope shit. SO far I love new SH mixtape. But Em needs to put these guys on his album and promote, cus if Em wants them to be popular, put them on the ONLY FUCKING SUCCEESSFUL person is EMINEM on that label.

And they need to do a SICK rap song, not a shit song like Throw It Up.

Slaughterhouse is the best thing to happen to Shady Records since Bobby Creek.

They'll be around longer then Yelawolf tho, because Royce and Em are buddies. That pretty much gets them a stay of execution. Yelawolf, soon as his next album flops (Which, mark my words, it will, regardless of the quality) he's gone.

At this point Em shouldn't have a record label, or involvement with anybody else career aside from his own. Skyler Grey sang the hook on hit after hit for a good 3 years, then she puts Eminem in charge of her album, he picks "C'mon Let Me Ride" for the single and that album debuts somewhere in the 20's and vanishes as quick as it got there.

Shady Records could find a way to make the next Adele record flop if they were in charge of it.

It seems that Em has an opposite Midas Touch with anybody who comes on that Label. Yelawolf should be at least as big or bigger than Mac Miller by now. Slaughterhouse should be more mainstream too maybe not as mainstream as T.D.E. or YMCMB but nonetheless mainstream. So if you are an upcoming rapper and you want to be popular sign anywhere but Shady Records.

The problem with Slaughterhouse is their lack of conceptual songs - yes it's cool to have bars and do rappity rapping but if you don't have any unique topics your music becomes boring quickly.
Eminem is so successful because when it comes to subject matter he is fantastic.
Crooked's solo album was really disappointing, technically he's a great technical rapper but his ability to make good songs are lacking - even some of those half arsed R&B joints he had on there are terribly executed.
Everyone in SH can rap, but not all of them can make songs.
