This is such a backwards way of thinking. I found porn when I was like 8, and I'm a perfectly functional person. I'm actually very rational when it comes to sexual partners and what not.

But what about those people that aren't wired up like a 'normal' person?
Or someone who isn't strong minded?
Easy led?
Peer pressure?
Stumble across fetishes?
Bondage?
At a young age without explanation this can be misguided and a as child you don't understand what pleasures you

I guess I'm looking at it from a bigger picture. Sex, lust, obsessions, addictions etc bring out the darkness in some people's brains that could lead to doing harm to people.

I believe censoring to be a good thing, as I wouldn't want my child when I have one watching porn at 8 years old.
But then it brings out the rebellious in people, they want to see what they are not allowed to. Only a handful will go out of their way to see what they can't.

I can't decide whether this is good or bad or not yet. What I do know is parents got shit and lazy, about time they started taking responsibility. People are always blaming or looking for someone to blame now rather than looking at themselves.

Yes, these thoughts crossed my mind, but I still think that censorship is wrong. I understand that people may want what's best for our youth, but it's hard to know what's best these days. All the kids are desensitized to violence, sex and trashy TV shows with foul language.

Finding porn is too easy these days, which is probably where all of this is coming from. Filtered or not, those that really want their porn will find a way, it just won't be as simple for a small child.

I'm talking more along the lines of kids in elementary school. There is no reason an 8 year old should be exposed to porn.

At 12 you're already going through puberty and curiosity kicks in, it's a different story.
