It isn't all about power, it's also a position to serve and protect citizens. It is their duty to put themselves in harms way for you. They have no reason to exert their power over you if you are a law abiding citizen.

If you're doing something illegal, it should always be done acknowledging the consequences.... and one of those is the obvious possibility of having cops arrest you, it's their job.

Like in any profession, there are always going to be dicks.... but it's unfair to generalize all cops as scumbags based on the actions of few of them.

My dad was a cop for 15 years, I know cops.

My dad was a cop too. Served on everything from patrol, to SWAT, to training future cops at the police academy.... and all for the city of Miami, ranked among America's most crime infested cities.
