she did the get ur freak on remix with missy elliot and even performed ith her on the VMA's and more recently, she's hooked up with timbaland for her new album.

and i heard she was good friends with proof and may have possibly done a song with him, but i don't think that was ever released

For whatever reason, I agree with you. A while back I member her "wanna fly away" or whatever song, and now she hooks up with timberland to make a RnB song... ehh its tough to come back in the game like that and that quick with that type of music.
