Everyone knew Eminem in 2000. He was almost arrested in London for taking ecstasy on stage during his MMLP tour. I guarantee Radcliffe knew of Eminem in 2000, just like the rest of the world.

Reddit's AMA subreddit does a really good job of verifying who's posting. A lot of times with celebrities it's in promotion of something they're in (such as Denzel's new movie), but it's still them/their management on behalf of them.
