I wouldn't classify Schindler's list as a war movie though. Even if it depicts casualties of war.

Reviews seem to favor the former, is that how you feel as well?

I've seen Saving Private Ryan probably 3-4 times, pretty good movie.

I've watched some of Flags Of Our Father and it was pretty decent from what i'd seen. Plan on watching both in due time. I figured it was what you where looking for, given that you see both sides perspective

The Reader is a film you definitely should check out, too. And maybe The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

I really liked this movie. No problem with the accents as I watched it in Spanish.

Also liked Saving private Ryan.

I never watched Life is beautiful but always wanted, everybody says is great. And Roberto Benigni is very talented.

The Reader does a good job of humanizing Nazis. At least, for me it did.
