If so, that shit is literally every-fucking-where in Australia. I had a case onmy iPhone 4 that allowed me to do that via my banking app.... So not sure what's new about it? I guess I don't need the extra phone case from my bank now, big deal :S

Idk I think Apple having smaller phones was one of the things they had going for them. I know a lot people that are annoyed at having to get a bigger screen now. Not everyone wants that, in a phone. I think those people are crazy.. but still.

If Samsung didn't load so much bullshit bloatware into the phones beforehand they would outsell Apple by 1000s imo. They're both great companies for different reasons. They both make great products They both have flaws. For example:

Samsung:
Cons:
-Un-uninstallable bloatware, therefore bogging down the phone more often and makes it more prone to crashes and freezing
- Own companies UI gets placed over stock android UI (could be a flaw or not depending on your POV, but I hate TouchWiz)
- More prone to crashing, freezing, hangings, etc.

Pros:
- Removable back cover, meaning one can replace the battery if it goes back
- Expandable Storage
- Cheap (compared to apple)
- Flexibility out the ass when it comes to customization, developer options etc.
- Flexibility with apps

Apple:

Cons:
- Expensive
- Battery life has been mediocre
- Battery sealed in, meaning that if it goes bad, you're shit out of luck buddy
- No expandable storage
- Constantly playing catch up with Android. Used to be the other way around
- Extremely restricted environment/ecosystem (Could go both ways as far as pros/cons)

Pros:
-Simple, straight forward UI (for those that like it that way)
- UI is a lot more fluid and less prone to crashes freezes etc. (In my experience. Others may differ)
- App store, which is known for having quality apps
- You get that Apple 'feel 'build quality' and such.
- May be proud of owning an apple

So yeah. They're both great companies, with great products. it all comes down to personal preference

@TranSlucEnt: Apple Pros you forgot..
- iTunes.
- Wifi music/movie/book syncing. When you preorder an album/movie/book on iTunes, the morning of the release it's on all enabled devices.
- Mac owners will soon have total synchronization across all devices with iOS8. Including phone calls.

@bigray oh haha my apologies I guess I was misinformed. I consider myself a techie but I don't pay close attention to the stats. And custom ROM eh? Might have to look into that. And yeah about the crashing thing its different for everyone. Recently I've been having these random reboots and hangings at boot up, then it repeats (nexus 5) however I did recently wipe the system cache in recovery mode and have not had any issues yet
