Nobody should strive for music to be their job. You should always have stable ground to fall back on. My music project is nothing but a hobby, but the difference between you and I, is that I'm taking the time to work on my craft. It's cool that you're making music, that's fine with me. I see an issue when you take offense to people calling your music shit. If you're not dedicating sufficient time to work on your craft, then you should suspect negative feedback.

Definitely could use a better mic and mixing, that would improve the song a whole lot.
