I disagree with the verdict. I also disagree with the way the people are acting too though.
I'm usually ok with PEACEFUL protesting, but breaking shit isn't going to do anything.

The kid was UNARMED. Sure, maybe he threw punches, or "charged at" (lol) the polic, but that doesn't mean shoot him over 5 times. If a grown man absolutely has to shoot someone for this, shoot him in the leg or the ankle to temporarily disable him.
He murdered him. It wasn't needed. He should be charged.

I'm not sure how to feel, I don't feel I or many of us really have the facts to make a fair decision on whether the verdict was deserved. I can say with the information I have I don't feel the verdict was correct. But I can't say I know with any absolute certainty.

Also, a lot of the protestors were well meaning and not obnoxious rioters, I don't feel we should group them in all together. It's not fair to judge an entire group of people based on the actions of a few.

I do think there is a problem with racial prejudice in the United States and it absolutely needs to be addressed. This might not be the correct time to address it though, and it's hard to say when a cop is just doing his/her job and when theres a genuine problem. I don't know man I hate to be on the fence and sound so indecisive, but I just try to not generalize or place the world in such black and white terms anymore because thats not the way the world actually works.

EDIT: About the violent protests... damn. You really want to garner empathy/sympathy? Don't fucking burn down stores and riot like assholes, it makes your entire cause look foolish and thats not fair to the rational people out there. Were these store owners somehow involved in the case? If not what in the fuck gives you justification for burning down their property. Even if they did, I fail to see how burning down stores is going to help your case.

Michael Brown punched officer Darren Wilson and was involved in a physical altercation with him, that's considered aggravated resistance, which is the highest level of resistance against a law enforcement officer..... there are consequences that come with that and Michael Brown suffered them.... hence why the grand jury said there is no probable cause to even consider an indictment.

It's not that complicated tbh.....

Alright I got myself slightly more educated on the situation, and learned that there was in fact an altercation before the shooting happened. I don't feel he needed to die, but I'm not so sure the jury was incorrect in their decision either.
