i agree, i believe rap to be an art. you can teach somebody how to paint, doesnt mean they can make a masterpiece. if you say blend ya colorz and say do it like this or that, they still need the skill to do it themselves.

practice makes perfect like any art. if a kid cant draw a tree for shit but he's determined to draw it in a way that amazes people he's not gonna give up. so if you wanna write lyrics... and you do, and you feel it's not good enough, do it again. while it can't be taught, you can develope the skill. i use to be horrible at it, but i was determined not to fail, now i feel im decent. just keep at it.

MULTIS

onto multis. what is a multi? let's check out a simple example

that is a multi. a combination of words usually matching in syllables (always try to match syllables) multis are a invaluable tool and can be the difference in a lot of battles but you should never force a multi it should come naturally and the more you do it the easier it will come to you. heres a quick example of that in a verse

so thats a multi in use, get out there and start using them in your battles. i'll explain partial multis later on in the next tutorial
