this is better than that shit u tried to do before.

a few things i can spot wrong.

1) too simple, this beat is like what 3 layers?

2) the drum patter, a few extra kicks in each, to make it

kick kick .. snare .. kick .. snare .. kick kick ..snare kick ... snare

not kick .. snare... kick .. snare ... kick... kick kick .. snare.

3) fidelity in the beat is absent, u need a tune , a basline (not in all cases though)

4) if u cant really make music (i mean real music) urself, use ur ears, download soul records, orchestra songs ... etc, search for samplable tunes and build over them.

5) download interesting drum samples, effects etc..


Uve nothing to show yet, just takes time and practice, my best advice is- seach for tutorials, try remaking other beats by breaking them down to snares and kicks and reconstrucing them, to gain some suffient experience.
