Bar & Tash beat Collab

This Was Created approx. in 30 minutes or so including sending files over coz i used some sounds he didnt have and vice versa


ok well, i did the drum pattern then sent this to tash, he added the melody and switched the snare a little, he sent it back and i mixed it (my first beat mixing job so it wont be too good, but hopefully its ok)

This Is just a 16 bar loop of it, feed is highly appreciated

Ok, the drum pattern wasn't bad, but at some points the kicks felt kinda off or somethin

I liked the melody on this too...and the mixing wasnt all that bad I thought.

yeh, i took the EQ for the kick and tried to find the "sweet spot" you could say, so it was down to a un-expeirenced ear if it sounds off lol my bad

drum pattern was good from wut i could hear, propz bar. cant think of anything wrong with it so good job.

the melody.. umm, well it could get annoying hearing that through the whole thing, in my opinion. somethin i think u should think about when makin a melody (not just this one, with all of your melodies) is that when u make up a pattern, and it sounds cool n everything, u should ask yourself, "will this still be cool when its repeated for 3 minutes?"
or however long the song is. so maybe u should switch it up later in the beat, or have another little pattern join in at some point. that way its diverse and more enjoyable.

yeah it wasn't bad... the drum pattern "made sense" if I can say lol, I mean there was nothing wrong... personally I would have prefered a louder snare tho

and the melody was ok, like Hadez I think it would get kinda annoying for a whole beat tho... cause personally, I really didn't like the sound of that violin but the melody itself wasn't bad
