We need a new rule to resolve battles if they haven't had the number of votes necessary to be closed. I think ten days is more than enough to have to wait for votes, if no votes have been given in that time, fair enough we let it go for another 5 or 10 days. But, if votes have been cast but aren't enough to win, the guy with the most votes wins when the 5 or 10 day deadline comes.

Also, we should go back through the last few pages or so, and any topic that hasn't received votes in the last week or two, we give the battle to the person with the most votes. There's just too many unfinished batles.

lol...yea good idea 4D maybe before anyone can battle...they have to vote on 2 battles before theyre allowed to battle...that way theres always goin to be battles...and votes for the battles

Yeah man, it always seems like that would work, but trust me it doesn't. It just kills a forum faster, i've seen it happen on much bigger sites. All we can do is keep it active ourselves and just have a bit of decency, if you drop a verse and expect feedback or a vote, least you can do is vote on at least one other battle. If everyone did that, no battles would be unfinished. It takes 1/20th of the time to vote as it does to write a verse, I don't know why it's so hard for people to do it.


If you agree with me vote on a few open battles or one at least, and others interested in keeping the section active (or gettin it active I should say) follow suit.
